COL imports, promotes and distributes quality medicines from internationally recognized drug manufacturers around the globe, including companies from Europe and North America. COL has a long-standing reputation of working with these foreign principals, with many such partnerships thriving for decades.
In 1999, COL entered into a joint venture agreement with Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, India, the largest pharmaceutical company in India to setup the company Sun Pharmaceuticals Bangladesh, Limited, which has its own manufacturing facility in Gazipur, Bangladesh
In 2002, the company inherited the then existing business of Medimpex, Hungary, which made its mark in the country since Her birth thus making COL the torch bearer of its long-lasting legacy.
COL has garnered well reputation from customers, from doctors, hospitals and end-users (patients) alike by dint of the quality of the product that the company serves and the dedication with which all personnel in the company operate.

Through its own promotional team, COL makes every effort to fulfil the needs of Medical Practitioner in this Bangladesh by routine and frequent promotional visits to the Doctors in all parts of the country.
The therapeutic areas covered by COL’s product portfolio include Cardiology, Neurology, Hematology, Immunology, Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry among others. The company also markets several imported lifesaving Critical Care products.
COL has its own cold storage facility and cold chain transportation vehicles, through which it can safely distribute temperature sensitive products throughout the country, maintaining the efficacy and integrity of the products.
COL puts a great deal of effort in ensuring that it stays up to date with the growing emphasis and requirement of Pharmacovigilance and Quality Systems around the globe and as such has its dedicated PV/QA team.
COL also serves as the distributor for Mundipharma (Bangladesh) Private Limited, a local manufacturer of pharmaceutical products, which is a 100% subsidiary of the Modi Group, India and the Mundipharma Group, Switzerland.
Besides it’s medicine business, COL also has Convertible Natural Gas (CNG) distribution business, with filling stations in Bangladesh.
